Former president Olusegun Obasanjo is really on a roll with his writing game. Many are still talking about his controversial memoir, My Watch. And now, he has penned another book, a children’s storybook titled, Peace Story for Children.
Obasanjo launched the book on Monday in Ogun State, to celebrate the the 2015 International Day of Peace, Vanguard reports. Students from various secondary schools in the state attended the event.
The book is described as “14-page booklet illustrated with various cartoons” with peace themes.
He
is said to have written the book because “it has become imperative to
sow the seeds of peace in the minds of children whose minds were more
receptive to ideas.”
At the launch, Obasanjo was represented by the Director of the OOPL Centre for Human Security, Peter Okebukola.
