In July Tory Lanez blessed us with the premiere of “Say It,” one of our favourite summer songs. Since then the track has reached a lot of new fans, including Ed Sheeran, who released his version of the track today. The pop star takes his hip-hop covers seriously (and sometimes to weird places), and his version of “Say It” is, thankfully, entirely free of tongue-in-cheek. Maybe it’s the push the track needs to elevate it to the chart smash status Sheeran’s covers usually occupy.
