Photos: 4year old girl & her dad burnt to death during Boko Haram attack in Maiduguri yesterday

A 4 year old girl and her father were among those that were burnt to death inside their homes during an attack on Dalori, a settlement situated on the outskirt of Maiduguri, Borno state yesterday January 30th. Over 100 people were reportedly killed during the attack which lasted over 3 hours. The sect members, dressed in military uniform, shot people dead and burnt homes. 14-year-old girl raped by four friends

Femi Olatunji, 17; Oyekanmi Rasheed, 18; Oladele Habib, 18 and John Alade, 16, are currently chilling at the police net in Lagos, for allegedly raping 14-year-old Habibat Adeolu (not real names).

Speaking to Saturday PUNCH , Habibat said the friends threatened to kill her if she told anybody about the incident.

Celine Dion's husband, Rene Angelil, dies at 73

Husband to International songstress, Celine Dion, Rene Angelil has died at the age of 73. Rene died in the early hours of today January 14th. He was diagnosed with throat cancer in 1998. His health got so bad last year that Celine took a leave of absence from her Las Vegas show at Caesars Palace.

The singer's son Duncan Jones released a short statement this morning (January 11th), asking for privacy at this difficult time.

Man catches a guy who duped him two years ago outside a bank in Surulere...and grabs him (photos)

Here's what happened according to a LIB source. 2 years ago, a man duped another guy of N700,000 in Ojuelegba, Surulere and disappeared. The guy who was duped was even arrested and locked up for 10 days after the money went missing because nobody believed he'd been duped. Fast forward to two years later, this week.. the guy was coming out of a bank in Aguda, Surulere when he spotted the guy that scammed him. He immediately raised an alarm and held on to the guys trousers. He managed to drag the alleged scammer to his house where his friends slapped him around and then called the police, who came and took him away.
