Mark Zuckerberg Wants to Build Artificially Intelligent Butler to Help Run his Home

Mark Zuckerberg wants to build an artificially intelligent butler in 2016 that will help him run his home and assist him at work.

The Facebook Inc founder and chief executive, who commits to a new personal challenge every year, revealed his plan in a Facebook post on Sunday.

“You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man,” Zuckerberg wrote, referring to an artificially intelligent butler who appears in the Marvel comic books and movies.

Zuckerberg will start the project by exploring existing technology, he wrote. He will then begin teaching the technology to understand his voice so that it will learn to control everything in his home, such as music, lights and temperature.

His plans also include teaching the assistant to let friends into his home by looking at their faces when they ring the doorbell, Zuckerberg wrote. The assistant will visualize data to support Zuckerberg at work, he wrote.

“This should be a fun intellectual challenge to code this for myself,” Zuckerberg wrote. “I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn over the course of the year.”

Other challenges Zuckerberg has taken on in recent years have included reading two books every month and learning Mandarin.

While we did see some stutter when switching from app to app quickly and using a few more intensive apps, we were pleased with its performance -  seriously though, don’t try to play any new games on this, as it won't manage to keep up.

Of course, it's the cheapphone to take on holiday or to festivals if you can't leave the likes of WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger behind.

A couple’s photo in front of the burning hotel in Dubai has been called ‘the most inappropriate selfie ever’. The Address Downtown Dubai hotel went up in flames just hours before Dubai celebrated New Year’s Eve.

While people struggled to escape and run to safety, one insensitive couple took the opportunity to take a selfie in front of it and posted the photo on Instagram along with the caption: ‘Happy New Year My dear Dubai. May God bless you and keep you safe, you always surprise us with the biggest fireworks.’

According to The Daily Telegraph, 23-year-old Liam and 25-year-old Miley were seen ‘cuddling and kissing’ on Saturday night at the popular music festival held in the New South Wales, Australia .

The newspaper also reports the pair arrived at the festival late in the evening and were spotted walking backstage towards the VIP area with Liam’s brothers Chris and Luke and their wives, Elsa Pataky and Samantha

The Hemsworth brothers have been sharing some fun snaps from their celebrations Down Under, though Miley hasn’t appeared in any of them to date. 

Taking to Instagram on Sunday morning, Liam shared a snap of him and 32-year-old Chris and 35-year-old Luke, presumably from the previous night.

Reports of Miley and Liam being together in Byron Bay come after the Hollywood hunk opened up about his feelings towards his former fiancee in October last year.
