Ariel Winter bares her breast reduction scars on Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet

Winter shared her view on the decision with her Twitter followers:

Guys there is a reason I didn't make an effort to cover up my scars! They are part of me and I'm not ashamed of them at all. :)

She then went on to add her thanks to fans: “Thank you all so much for the support, kind words, and happy birthdays!

Winter told Glamour magazine last year that pain was a major motivator in reducing her breasts by a couple of cup sizes from a 32F to a 34D.

“I remember being in my sister’s wedding and being so flat and thinking, ‘I just wish I would grow boobs!’ and then overnight I did. But then they kept growing and growing and growing and it didn’t seem like they were going to stop.”
“It started to hurt so bad that I couldn’t take the pain,” she said.
